How about that, 2020! This is a playtest version of Timespell. It kind of popped up as an idea and I followed it through as best as possible. It's been lightly tested, mostly for mechanical viability - there's still tweaks coming, but it's possible to have both smooth sailing and fail at the last moment, which is exciting.
It's a bit more regimented than other roleplaying games, and that's a core need that this game presented. It's about following a specific emotional arc, so it required some clear boundaries in when the dice are rolled, and what is presented. I'm interested to see how this works out for people. It's inspired by two incredibly poetic pieces of media, and I hope that it can contribute to that theme.
I'm not putting too much into this right now - I want to get it out asap for the personal boost, the end of the year, and the fact that this isn't the only project I've got going on! It's only the one that I was able to push out at all. Let it be interesting and maybe I'll come back to it.
